## What we know, and what we don't.

The delegated act for textiles does not exist yet. The Commission plans it for 2027, with a transition period of at least 18 months. Our profile follows the Commission's preparatory study until the act is adopted.

### Provisional, and labeled so

Each field records its source and status, so you can see what comes from a study and what comes from law.

### Comparable test results

Each result carries its method, laboratory and verification status, so like is compared with like.

### Built to change

When the act is adopted, a new profile version follows. Your codes and records stay in place.

### Add the garment

Start from the model: category, identifiers, manufacturer and facility.

### Prove what it is

Add fibres that sum to 100%, test results, substances and care.

### Publish and sew in

Print the code on the care label or a sewn-in tag. Add serial-level items if you want a record for each garment.

The Atelier Norte oxford shirt shows a public garment passport: composition, durability, care and repair.

### Do textile passports apply today?

No. The delegated act is planned for 2027, followed by a transition period of at least 18 months. No textile passport is required by law today.

### Why prepare before the act is adopted?

Collecting fibre, test and facility data from suppliers takes seasons. The structure can be ready before the rule is.

### What happens when the act is adopted?

We publish a new profile version and document which fields changed. Your printed codes keep resolving.

### Can I add a passport per garment?

Yes. The profile works at model level, with batch-level test results, and serial-level items can hold a status and dated events for each garment.

## Start with your data, or wait for the act.
