Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using eulabel.eu (the “Site”) or the EUlabel waitlist. By accessing the Site or submitting your details, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by Búzios e Tartarugas, Lda., a company incorporated under Portuguese law.

2. Description of the service

EUlabel is a pre-launch platform for Digital Product Passport (DPP) infrastructure. The Site currently serves as an informational resource and waitlist for early access to the EUlabel platform.

No commercial service is provided at this time. Joining the waitlist does not constitute a contract for services, create any payment obligation, or guarantee access to the platform upon launch.

3. Use of the site

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content via contact forms or email.
• Reproduce or redistribute any content from the Site without prior written consent.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, design, code, graphics, and the EUlabel name and brand — is the property of Búzios e Tartarugas, Lda. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, logos, or other brand features without our express written permission.

5. Third-party services

The Site uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

• Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure.
• Vercel Analytics — privacy-preserving usage analytics (no cookies, no personal identifiers).
• beehiiv — newsletter and waitlist platform. When you submit your email address, it is transmitted to and stored by beehiiv, Inc. in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services linked from or integrated into the Site.

6. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Information on this Site about EU regulations (ESPR, DPP requirements, wine e-labels, etc.) is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for regulatory compliance guidance.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Búzios e Tartarugas, Lda. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or the waitlist service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed €100.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cascais, Portugal, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
